ROYAL RIDGE CENTER (MALL)

Royal Ridge mall opened in May 1974 as a 20-store mini mall anchored by Purity Supermarket, Marshalls and a pharmacy. In 1994, the mall was redeveloped as a strip plaza. Ames was an anchor store on the northern end of the mall only to be divided later for The Sports Authority and Petsmart. After the conversion into a plaza, the mall was renamed Royal Ridge Center.

In 2016 The Sports Authority went bankrupt and the store closed. It will be replaced by HomeGoods and Sierra Trading Post in 2018.
