This site documents some of my more interesting programming endeavors, past and present.

About Me

Bio: I grew up in a number of places, including Michigan USA, Abu Dhabi UAE, and on sailboat. Since 2000, I've lived in Honolulu, HI. This is the longest I've ever lived in one place. Besides programming, I enjoy teaching and table-top roleplaying games. (For more, see my Bio.)

Education and Employment: I have a Bachelors in Philosphy, a Masters in Library Science, and a PhD in Communications and Information Science. My dissertation work was in the field of interactive narrative--getting a computer to generate a story in response to a human player. I am currently continuing this research while I get a Masters in Computer Science. I have been teaching programming as a Teaching Assistant since 2002. (For more, see my Professional Web Space.)
