My name is Zach Abeyta, and I am a logistics analyst who has just passed the Customs Broker License Exam.
Just as the name of this page implies, I am a "Zach of All Trades" who researches anything I find useful or interesting. To keep myself balanced, I learned how to use Microsoft Office with Visual Basic for Applications for (VBA) macros, AutoDesk software, and visualization tools like PowerBI and Tableau. I have also studied computer programming such as Python, Java, and SQL.
I have also earned a large number of certifications to make myself more useful in industry (such as HAZDOT CFR 49 and the Mays' Business Management Certificate).
Of course, credentials mean very little without the ability to act. Thankfully, my work experience with BakerRisk, BP America, and Mainfreight Transport, as well as my other complex projects show I can apply my unique capabilities in different situations. Thanks to tutoring others in school, I can also communicate ideas effectively with people of all backgrounds.
My references can vouch for my abilities, if needed.
As far as logistics goes, I've had to wear a whole lot of hats. From dispatching trucks, to planning inbound/outbound, to performing data analysis, to overseeing customer accounts (and expansions), to handling supplier sales reps, to running quality assurance, to mediating meetings between software developers/IT/pricing, to optimizing processes with teams on the ground. I've done it all minus driving a truck myself. A detailed list of my efforts can be found in my resume.
