I am an Assistant Professor of Biostatistics at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. I received Ph.D. degree in Statistics at Penn State University under the advisorship of Dr. Rongling Wu and Dr. Runze Li. I also have Master degree in Computer Science from Zhejiang University, China. My hometown is Cangzhou which is a city very close to Beijing and has a long history.
Driven by practical challenges in science and engineering, my research focuses on the development of robust statistical models and machine learning algorithms designed to extract meaningful patterns from complex datasets, particularly their applications in computational biology, genetics, and clinical research. I am dedicated to interdisciplinary collaboration at the intersection of statistics and data science to solve high-dimensional 'Big Data' problems.
