Yunlong Wang is currently a research scientist at the advanced analytic team of QuintilesIMS. He was a post-doctoral researcher in the Signal Processing in Networking and Communications Group (SPiNCOM) at the University of Minnesota, hosted by Prof. Georgios B. GiannakisPrior to that, he received his Ph.D. from the Stony Brook University, advised by Prof. Petar. M. Djurićin 2015. He received his B.E. Degree in electrical engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong University, Xi'an, China, in 2009.

His research interests lie in area of statistical signal processing and particularly in the topics of :

  • Signal processing over networks
  • Probabilistic graphical models 
  • Social learning
