Russian born concert pianist and distinguished piano teacher Dr. Yulia Lipmanovich brings to her Piano Studio a vast wealth of teaching and performing experience which enables her to successfully introduce young performers of any level and age to the beautiful world of music. 
Dr. Lipmanovich believes it is her role as educator to facilitate and motivate each student in finding a successful and fluid piano technique, exploring their individual creative abilities and performance skills while also developing the fundamental understanding and mastery of each composition learned and performed. Many of Dr. Lipmanovich's students have become outstanding performers and teachers, and have been accepted into such prestigious music programs as the Julliard School of Music, the Paris Conservatory of Music, and the Rubin Academy of Music in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.
 
Dr. Lipmanovich feels that her piano training with some of the world's greatest pedagogues (including Tatiana Nickolayeva, Rosina Lhevinne, Arie Vardi, Ian Hobson, Anthony di Bonaventura) has given her a sound technical and musical foundation, which she imparts to each student. Her teaching methods guide each student through a methodical and successful path in the musical learning process from developing musical and technical skills while providing her pupils with the important tools needed to develop focus in personal practice time and performance.
 Dr. Lipmanovich believes that music nourishes the soul, and that the concepts necessary in learning to play the piano well is easy for any student when a sound  and technical approach to playing the instrument is implemented at the earliest learning stages.

Dr. Lipmanovich is  a Honorary President of the Jury of the International Piano Competition of Madame Rosina Lhevinne in San Marco di Castellabate (Salerno) Italy August 23-26 which is held every two years.

Dr.Yulia Lipmanovich was in Thailand  in the Jury  for the Thailand 6th Mozart International Piano Competition  in July 15-29 / 2016 . She taught Master Classes  and performed Solo Recitals.

Dr. Yulia performed   All Chopin Favorites  at the Studebaker Theater at the Fine Arts Building on January  10th, 2016  at 6:00pm.

Dr. Lipmanovich  gave numerous  Master Classes in Israel, among them were  Master Classes in Israel at the Music Academy of the Tel Aviv University. In 2014  

Dt. Lipmanovich gave Three Solo Recitals at the The  PianoForte "Chicago  New Center For The Piano" January 19th, February 16th, May 4th.

Dr. Lipmanovich was a  judge at Northwestern University Music School's annual Thaviu-Isaak Competition in 2013 and at the Sonata/Somatina Festival organized by CAMTA at the Roosevelt University in December 2013.

She has taught on the piano faculties of the Boston Conservatory, Boston College, Northeastern University, Daily College, and the Rubin Conservatory of Music in Jerusalem in Israel. She is a Founder of the Chicago Piano Trio and of the Chicago Piano Chamber Musicians Ensemble. Member of the Music Teachers National Association(MTNA) and Chicago Area Music Teachers Association (CAMTA). 

Dr. Yulia Lipmanovich has studied with her mother, Madame Luba Lipmanovich-Yackobishvili, who was an outstanding pianist and a great teacher. Later with well known Russian pianist Tatiana Nickolayeva in Moscow Tchaikovsky Pre-Conservatory and Madame Rosina Lhevinne at the Juilliard School of Music in New York.

 Dr. Yulia Lipmanovich holds a Bachelor of Music Degree in Piano Performance from the Juilliard School of Music in New York, where she was a Protégé student of Madame Rosina Lhevinne and had a full scholarship. Received a Masters Degree from the Rubin Academy of Music of the Tel Aviv University, where she studied with Prof. Arie Vardi on a full scholarship awarded by the University. In 1998, was awarded her Doctorate in Piano Performance under the guidance of Ian Hobson on a full scholarship at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. 

 Dr. Yulia Lipmanovich has appeared in major concert halls as a soloist, with orchestras and chamber groups throughout Russia, Israel, Europe and in such prestigious venues in the United States such as Carnegie Hall, Steinway Hall and Alice Tully Hall in New York. She won the Piano Competition of the Soviet Composers (Moscow), and the Tenth Annual Young Artists International Competition (New York) were she was a winner from 300 contestants.
 
She was recognized as an outstanding young performer and named in the National Collegiate Academy Honorary Book as “Collegiate All-American Scholar”. When in Israel, she was a member of the “Trio Bor”, who were members of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and appeared in numerous concerts. As a soloist she played for an audience where 30 Foreign Ambassadors were present. She also performed on Radio and Television. Her recent performances in Chicago include the Fazioli Concert-Series (broadcast live on WFMT), Gala event of the Fine Arts Building in Curtiss Hall, Fourth Presbyterian Church , Harold Washington Library and many other events

Dr. Yulia Lipmanovich is a  frequent radio and television performer. Her recent performances in Chicago include the Fazioli Concert-Series (broadcast live on WFMT), Gala event of the Fine Arts Building in Curtiss Hall, Fourth Presbyterian Church (all Chopin program), web performance at Recording Studio 914 in the Fine Arts Building, at Schubertiade (Fazioli Pianoforte Solon). Harold Washington Library were she performed a program of Russian Composers, She has performed in Chicago with orchestras Haydn Piano Concerto in D Major, Grieg Piano Concerto in A minor, and Tchaikovski Piano Concerto No 1.

Presently Dr. Yulia Lipmanovich is teaching at her Studio  710  "The Art Of Piano Playing" at the Fine Arts Building in Chicago, and is Musician in Residence at Walder Educational Center. She is active teaching and performing.

 In May 2012  Dr. Yulia Lipmanovich gave Piano  Master Classes at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music  "Clairmont Hall" of Tel Aviv Universiry in Israel and gave Solo Recital of All Chopin Program at the Ramat Gan Theater. She was also performing in Russia Chopin Piano Concerto No 1 with Kirov Philharmonic Orchestra and a Chief Conductor Valery Raevsky. Dr. Lipmanovich gave numerous Master Classes and performed a Solo Recitals in Israel  among them at the at Ramat Gan Theater  "All Schubert Piano Recital"  and  All Chopin Program " 2013. She is a  founder  of the Chicago Piano Trio and  of the Chicago Piano Chamber Musicians Ensemble.
