About Me

     Yuhanis Yusof is an Associate Professor in the School of Computing, Universiti Utara Malaysia, Malaysia. She obtained her PhD in Computer Science from Cardiff University, UK. She also holds a MSc degree in Computer Science from Universiti Sains Malaysia and Bachelor of Information Technology from Universiti Utara Malaysia. Her research interest is broadly in data analytics  and management for large scale computing. This includes data mining (discovering patterns of interest from data), information retrieval, optimization and data grid. Currently, she is involved in several projects relating to Machine Learning and Swarm Intelligence (in particular are the Artificial Bee Colony, Firefly algorithm, Grey Wolf optimizer, Cuckoo Search and Bat algorithm). Her research work is realized in several domains including finance, education, cyber security  and transport management.
