About me

I'm currently an assistant professor at School of Psychology, Shenzhen University. My research focuses on using experimental psychology and cognitive neuroscience approaches to understand the theoretical and neural architecture of the human cognitive system. Specifically, I am working on the neural basis of attention by using functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging and eye-tracking. I also am interested in exploring the neural basis of working memory and its relation to attention. Another research interest is exploring the relation between functional brain networks and behavioral performance by using graph theoretic tools.

I received my postdoctoral training at Department of Psychology, Vanderbilt University, with Dr. René Marois,

I obtained my Ph.D. under the supervision of Dr. Randi Martin, at the Neuroplasticity Lab and Department of Psychological Sciences, Rice University.
