Yubing Sun is a PhD candidate in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He received his BS in Materials Science  from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2006. His current research interests include  constructing synthetic ex vivo stem cell microenvironment using micro/nanoengineering approaches, mechanobiology of stem cells, and nanotechnology for biomedical applications.
