- Ionic conduction and associated electrochemical reactions in solid electrolytes, including superionic conductors and SOFCs.
- Domain switching dynamics in ferroelectric thin films (Pb(Zr,Ti)O3, BiFeO3, etc)
- Flux-closure domains in ferroelectric thin films and nanostructures
- Ferroelectric and multiferroic tunnel junctions
- Nonlinear dynamics of elastic interfaces: creep, depinning, and flow motions
