Summer Workshops 2016 directed by William Garcia
- Improv Comedy Workshop
- July 11th - 15th, 6:30-8:30 pm, at the Riverside Arts Center
- Spend a whole week laughing at our Improv Comedy Camp. We will spend the week learning the tools and tricks that professional comedians use to make an audience laugh. We will practice long and short form improv, both individually & as part of comedy teams. We'll discuss what makes something funny, how to think on your feet and most of all, how to have a great time with comedy. The week will end with a comedy performance.
- Musical Theatre Workshop
- July 18th - 22nd, 6:30-8:30 pm, at the Riverside Arts Center
- Learn how to become a "triple threat" in theatre: someone who can act, sing, and dance for an audience. Students will learn acting and singing vocal warm-ups, traditional Broadway dance steps, and will watch and perform numbers from their favorite musicals. So whether you are new to the stage or a veteran of many shows, you'll have a great time singing , dancing, and laughing with your friends. The week will end with a musical performance.
