Mandatory Parent / Guardian Meeting and First Week of rehearsals

Hello Midsummer families - this is just a reminder that the parent meeting is Tuesday, January 14, at 6:30 pm at the church.  This meeting is mandatory, so if there's some pressing reason you can't make it, please email back and let us know if you haven't spoken to a member of the production team already.

The first rehearsal is this Wednesday from 6:30 - 8:30 pm.  The first few rehearsals are generally for the whole cast to read through, but keep an eye out for a rehearsal schedule from Rob within the next day or so, because that might not be the case this time.  The schedule in general will typically go out on Sundays.

Looking forward to seeing everyone soon!

Audition Information and Link to Family Information Form

posted Sep 21, 2013, 7:24 PM by jaimie hartman   [ updated Jan 14, 2014, 2:51 PM ]

We are very excited to announce our Spring 2014 production, A Midsummer Night's Dream.
Auditions are Thursday and Friday, January 9 and 10, from 6:30 - 8:30 pm at the First Presbyterian Church, 300 North Washington Street, Ypsilanti (at the corner of Cross and North Washington Streets).  Parents should accompany their young actors to auditions in order to fill out informational paperwork and because actors are occasionally released a little early.

The show dates are Friday, April 4 - Sunday, April 6, at the Riverside Arts Center.
Performance times will be Friday morning at 10 am, Friday and Saturday night at 7, and Saturday and Sunday afternoon at 1.
Rehearsals will be at the Presbyterian Church and might be any Tuesday - Friday night, any time between 6:30 and 8:30 pm.
Not all actors will be called to all rehearsals - rehearsal schedules are typically released on Sundays for the following week.

The actor fee is $50, and $30 for any additional siblings.

Scholarships are available if needed - talk to a board member at auditions if financial hardship is an issue.

The following form can be filled out ahead of time, if you know your child will be auditioning (there are other forms that will be given out at auditions, but because this one is online, you can fill it out in advance or at auditions):
