Welcome to the East Prospect Park Neighborhood Association (EPPNA) website.

Located in the northeast corner of the city, the East Prospect Park neighborhood offers some of the most desirable attributes Ypsilanti has to offer. Its well-maintained, attractive homes are a mix of ranch, colonial, and bungalow, featuring tidy shaded lawns and gardens. Neighborhood residents enjoy an exceptionally safe and family-friendly location within walking distance of numerous amenities. With Cross Street on the southern border and Prospect Street just west, pedestrians have easy access to Depot Town, its shopping, restaurants, and co-op grocery. In addition, unique establishments such as the Corner Brewery and the Chick In drive-in are nestled nearby. Tall, old-growth trees add to the quiet calm of the East Prospect Park neighborhood, a place where dogs are walked and children often play.

Just across Oak Street from beautiful Prospect Park sits Adams Academy, a grade 1-5 school that partners with the University of Michigan to offer a curriculum focused on science and mathematics. Within the park itself, both students and neighborhood residents benefit from convenient access to basketball and roller hockey courts, a baseball diamond, and ample pavilion space for picnics. At the southwest corner of the park sits the newly-landscaped Luna Lake Native Plants Garden, just one example of a recent neighborhood association project to beautify the area. Other association projects within the past year include park enhancement and maintenance, as well as community social events. Though tucked away from large and busy roadways, East Prospect Park offers its residents direct access to M-14 via Prospect Road north and I-94/I-23 directly south; therefore, families enjoy a slower pace of life within a diverse and developed metropolitan region.

The East Prospect Park Neighborhood is bordered by Prospect St. to the west, Holmes St. to the north, Cross St. to the south, and the city limits to the east.  The EPPNA is located in Ypsilanti, Michigan.

The East Prospect Park Neighborhood Association is a member of the Ypsilanti Community Policing Action Council (CoPaC).

EPPNA meetings are held on the first THURSDAY of every even-numbered month, 7P. The October, December, February, and April meetings are at Adams School on the corner of Prospect and Oak. The June and August meetings are at Prospect Park at one of the two pavilions. Street signs are put out the weekend before each meeting as a reminder.
