 I am a theorist in condensed matter physics. The main goal of my current research is to study exotic Topological Phases of Matter, in particular the classification and characterization on ideal models and real systems. This research field is currently rapidly expanding and becomes more and more interdisciplinary. There is a tendency that researchers from various backgrounds (e.g., ultra-cold atomic physics, material science, computer science, quantum information, string theory, and mathematical physics) are now collaborating closer and closer in order to push the field to new directions.
