The Hostel

The hostel was inaugurated in 2011, is located inside the parish house of the Church of Santa Maria in Betlem, about 500 meters from the historic center of Pavia; it can be easily reached by public transport (line 1 from/to the city center - lines 21 and 22 from/to the railway train station); the pilgrims who travel the Via Francigena, once they arrive near the Covered Bridge of Pavia, must leave the path along the Ticino river and go up the main road.

It has 6 rooms for a total of 23 beds (1 single room, the others have 2 to 7 shared places), for 2 of these rooms the bathroom is internal, for the others it’s shared; in the cost of the stay, guests have access to sheets and blankets, a common room with TV, microwave and kettle (the only options for heating food), fridge and freezer, dishes, glasses and cutlery in general, vending machines for hot, cold drinks and snacks, wi-fi network, heating and air conditioning; in favorable seasons it’s possible to use an external green area; for cyclists it is possible to use a box space inside the fence of the entire structure.

Check-in can take place between 10-12 am and between 2.30/6.30pm (other times must be agreed during the booking phase and in any case not later than 7.30 pm).

Check-out is fixed within 9.30am on the day of departure
