ySIS Lunch Seminar @SIS2016

HOW TO WRITE A PAPER TUTORIAL, June 8, Salerno

During the SIS2016 meeting (Salerno, June 8-10), Prof. David Dunson from Duke University will give a lunch-seminar on:
“How to write a paper: tips and hints”

Prof. D. Dunson is an outstanding statistician active in many fields: nonparametric Bayes, latent structure learning, big data, scalable Bayesian inference, machine learning and high-dimensional low sample size problems motivated by applications in epidemiology, environmental health, neurosciences, genetics, and fertility among others. He is part of many editorial boards and in particular he is Editor-in-chief of the Journal of the Royal Statistical Society Series B (Statistical Methodology). We are sure that this seminar will be a great opportunity, especially for young researchers at the beginning of their careers.

In order to participate you need to be registered for the SIS2016 Conference. We also invite you to register to the lunch seminar by filling the online form of the social events at the following link: http://www.sis2016.unisa.it/registration/form
Apart from SIS2016 registration fee, no further participation fee will be charged, and a free lunch box will be offered to all the registered ySIS members and students.
