Overview

The goal of our laboratory is to develop innovative strategies for drug discovery and delivery for diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease using pharmaceutical chemistry and photochemistry tools based on PK/PD modeling. Current research foci are 1) visible/NIR-activatable prodrugs for spatiotemporally controlled drug release, 2) dual functioning near IR BODIPY dyes for photodynamic therapy (PDT) and fluorescence image, 3) anti-cancer drug discovery, and 4) PK/PD modeling.
