We have 9 courts purely for badminton use.

It's not a multi sports hall with various lines and basketball nets in the way.
It has wooden floors that were resurfaced and painted in Feb 2014.
Several clubs use the facilities as described on the right column.

Monday Wednesday Club - blogsite here / Facebook
We are affiliated to Badminton England.
We play primarily with feather shuttles.
Club nights are Monday and Wednesday from 19.00 until 21.30.
We are a doubles club and play mens, women's or mixed. We have numerous teams in York & District League and Yorkshire League.
RI Monday-Wednesday club also welcome summer members from May 2017 onwards. We play every Monday and Wednesday from 7-9.30 pm. 4 month membership costs £40 or £20 for students and you also need to provide your own feather shuttles.
 
We play primarily with plastic shuttles (370 type). 
Club nights are Tue's and Thu's from 19.00 until 21.30.

Friday Junior Club (limited spaces left)

Junior membership £40.00 (sibling discount £35.00)
 
Friday night sessions: now split into two sessions from Friday, 12 September.
 
Session 1: 6pm to 7.30pm.  Primary school age kids.  Coach led session to encourage basic racquet skills and coordination for young children and beginners.  Shuttles provided.  This is the new session to try and introduced children to badminton at a younger age.
 
Session 2 takes a break from Easter and starts again in September: 7.30pm to 9.30 pm: Secondary school/college up to age 18.  Any younger children from the above session with good skills and ability will be moved up to this session.  Shuttles provided.
 
Juniors from session 2 above, will be selected and invited to play within the adult club on Wednesday evenings.  One court to be made available for this.  An additional £10 will be charged for this “privilege”.  Plastic shuttles will be provided but feather shuttles must be purchased by the juniors.
