Snickerdoodle Cookies

Snickerdoodle Cookies
1 Cup Butter
1 1/3 Cups Sugar
3 Eggs
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
3 Cups Flour
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Cream of Tartar
1/4 tsp. Salt
2 tsp. Cinnamon
2 Tbsp. Sugar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  In large bowl, cream butter, sugar, vanilla and eggs.  In a seperate medium bowl sift together dry ingredients, gradually add dry ingredients to creamed mixture. In a  small bowl combine 2 tsp. Cinnamon and 2 Tbsp. Sugar.
Roll your Snickerdoodle Cookie dough into balls, roll in Cinnamon/Sugar mixture and place on lightly greased baking sheet.  Bake 10-12 minutes.
Yield ~ approx. 4 1/2 dozen
