Day one was great but day two has been the complete opposite.

Very hard slog along some very bumpy roads. Roads like this do not help the situation with the piles!! The ride up to Bristol airport was like cyling up two Garrowbys (Garrowby Hill in East Yorkshire - 17% gradient)

It has been a beautiful sunny day however, not sto be outdone by Keith yesterday, I got us lost outside Bristol which found us both cycling up the slip road on the M5!!

Notable sites have included the 2 severn bridges, the wye valley, and the rolling hertfordshire countryside. The downside is again the sun. Steve said "I am starting to look like a costumed Lobster".

5pm and they finish for the day. They have just called and are sat in the pub having some food at woofferton. They sounded like they had a tough day today so keep sending them texts of encouragement.

132 miles completed today.

Keith reckons that Steve is winning the 'Fart Wars' but Steve is of the opinion that John is the champion.

John will be cooking Breakfast at the roadside tomorrow which'll give the lads added insentive to get pedalling.
