The MNSBL researchers are gaining ever-deepening insights into the way that living systems form and function to create new life-enhancing materials and devices. Researchers in bioinspired engineering are studying the knowledge that can lead to more creativity in mechanical design and to advanced (simpler, smaller, more sustainable) solutions than with conventional technology.
