Healing is not a mysterious gift reserved for experts. It is a living intelligence expressed through the body, the breath, intuition, relationship, ancestry, purpose, and the cycles of life itself.
The Healing Fundamentals curriculum is a seven-course exploration of the knowledge human beings have always used to understand suffering, support restoration, and participate more consciously in their own wellbeing.
Rooted in Indigenous wisdom, contemplative practice, comparative healing traditions, and more than three decades of study and clinical experience, these courses offer a grounded introduction to healing as a whole-person, relational, and regenerative process.
You may begin with the course that most directly speaks to your life, or move through the complete series as a foundational pathway within the Beauty Way School.
Most of us have been taught to approach health only when something has gone wrong. We learn to name symptoms, seek interventions, and hand responsibility to people who appear to know more about our bodies than we do.
Healing Fundamentals begins somewhere deeper.
These courses help restore your relationship with the intelligence already moving through your body and life. Together, we explore how healing happens, how imbalance communicates, how intuition develops, how purpose shapes wellbeing, and how ancestral and spiritual relationships participate in restoration.
This is not a program promising perfect health or absolute answers. It is an education in becoming more observant, discerning, responsive, and creatively engaged with the healing process.
What is healing, and how is it different from treatment, management, or cure?
This foundational course introduces healing as an intelligent process involving the body, mind, energy, relationships, environment, spirit, and time. Learn to recognize the conditions that support restoration and the obstacles that interrupt it.
Focus: Healing intelligence · regulation and restoration · whole-person wellbeing

The body is physical, but it is not only physical. This course introduces the chakras, subtle anatomy, energetic movement, and the relationship between consciousness and embodied life.
Rather than treating the chakras as a collection of symbols or personality categories, we explore them as part of a dynamic system through which experience, vitality, emotion, meaning, and spiritual awareness are organized.
Focus: Subtle anatomy · energetic balance · embodied consciousness

Intuition is often romanticized as a rare spiritual gift or dismissed as irrational. In practice, intuition is a natural form of perception that can be strengthened through attention, embodiment, discernment, and ethical practice.
This course helps you recognize how intuitive information arrives, distinguish intuition from fear or projection, and begin cultivating a more reliable relationship with your inner knowing.
Focus: Intuitive perception · discernment · embodied awareness

Chronic and complex conditions can make the body feel confusing, unpredictable, or adversarial. This course offers a different orientation: the body as a living source of information, communication, and adaptive intelligence.
Through the Eight Practices of Personal Medical Intuition, students learn to observe patterns, ask more useful questions, work with symptoms relationally, and develop greater confidence navigating their own healing process.
This course does not replace medical care. It helps you participate in that care with greater self-knowledge, agency, and discernment.
Focus: Body literacy · chronic conditions · personal diagnostic intelligence

Purpose is not simply a career, achievement, or singular destiny. It is an evolving relationship with what gives your life coherence, vitality, belonging, and direction.
This course explores how purpose is expressed through the body, personal gifts, recurring life patterns, relationships, responsibilities, and the needs of the larger world. Students develop a living framework for recognizing what their lives are asking of them now.
Focus: Meaning · vocation · life direction

None of us arrives in the world alone. We inherit stories, strengths, wounds, practices, responsibilities, and unfinished questions from those who came before us.
This course explores ancestral relationship as a source of identity, healing, protection, accountability, and belonging. Students are invited to approach ancestral practice with cultural humility, spiritual discernment, and respect for the complexity of family and lineage.
Focus: Ancestral relationship · lineage healing · belonging

Death is one of life’s most certain experiences and one of the subjects many people are least prepared to encounter.
This course explores dying, death, grief, transition, and regeneration through spiritual, ancestral, cultural, and embodied perspectives. Rather than offering one definitive explanation of what happens after death, the course opens a field of inquiry in which fear can soften and a deeper relationship with life can emerge.
The final course in the series is not only about life’s ending. It returns us to the beginning: the regenerative cycles through which identities, relationships, seasons, bodies, and worlds continually change form.
Focus: Death literacy · grief and transition · regeneration

The seven Healing Fundamentals courses offer a comprehensive introduction to the principles, practices, and relationships that underlie healing across cultures and traditions. Rather than approaching health through isolated symptoms or techniques, this series explores healing as an integrated process involving the body, energy, intuition, purpose, ancestry, and the cycles of life and death.
Beginning with the essential question of how healing works, students progressively develop the awareness, language, and embodied understanding needed to participate more consciously in their own wellbeing. Along the way, you'll cultivate energetic literacy, intuitive discernment, personal diagnostic intelligence, a deeper relationship with purpose and lineage, and a more spacious understanding of grief, transition, and regeneration.
Whether you are seeking healing for yourself, supporting loved ones, or preparing for advanced study within the Beauty Way School, this series establishes the conceptual and experiential foundation upon which all future learning is built.
Focus: Healing intelligence · embodied wisdom · intuitive development · ancestral relationship · regenerative living

Many of these teachings reveal new layers over time. Students are encouraged to revisit the practices and course materials as their bodies, relationships, and lives continue to change.
Healing Fundamentals is one of the central pillars of the Beauty Way Foundations curriculum, alongside:
Sacred Cosmology of the Body
A sixteen-class exploration of the human body as a living sacred cosmology.
The Meditation Series
Progressive practices for attention, breath, energetic awareness, loving-kindness, embodied presence, sleep, and dreaming.
Ancestral Studies
Courses exploring lineage, cultural memory, ancestral relationship, healing, and responsibility.
Together, these areas prepare students for deeper study in intuitive development, the Five Bodies of Healing, elemental diagnostic intelligence, regenerative leadership, and the professional practice of the Intuitive Creative Artist.
Systems of separation have taught many of us to distrust the body, fear the unknown, and imagine healing as something delivered entirely from outside ourselves.
The Beauty Way offers another possibility.
You can learn to observe the body without immediately judging it. You can strengthen intuition without abandoning discernment. You can honor ancestral and spiritual knowledge without pretending there is only one way to understand life. You can become more skillful in the ways you listen, choose, relate, grieve, restore, and begin again.
Healing is not a destination waiting at the end of perfect practice.
It is a relationship we learn to tend.
