Our team of Iyengar yoga teachers all have a qualification that is both nationally & internationally recognised. We are all dedicated to upholding the high standards of that qualification.

Judith Van Dop Is a senior L3 Iyengar teacher of the highest level & is also the studio's senior partner. She has been teaching for over 30 years, offers therapy and 1:1 sessions. She is a mentor and assessor for the IY (UK). Judith has visited the institute in Pune many times & been taught by BKS Iyengar, & since his death, his family. Maxine Lunn has 7 years teaching experience & 20 years Iyengar practice to share. She is certified to junior intermediate level 1 which she gained in 2016. Her classes are dynamic & informative. Maxine has been taught by the Iyengar family both in Pune India, conventions in Europe & many workshops with visiting teachers & she attends regular weekly classes with her senior teacher to extend her own knowledge. 0781 3303685


Tracey Wearne has been practising Iyengar Yoga for 18 years & holds introductory L2 certificate. She qualified in 2006 and has since then enjoyed teaching both adult and children's classes.

Gillian Kamali has been practising Iyengar Yoga since 1993 and teaching regularly across Penwith since qualifying in 1997. Since then she has passed Junior Intermediate levels 1, 2 and 3 and continues to enjoy teaching and furthering her learning under the guidance of local teachers, as well as attending classes, workshops and courses by Senior Iyengar teachers from across the world. Wendy Kennan

Wendy began teaching in 2014 she now holds Jnr L1 certificate which she passed in 2017. She first studied yoga in her teens. While waiting to start Iyengar teacher training she studied anatomy and qualified as a sports massage therapist. She continues studying with local senior teachers and takes every opportunity to participate in workshops with Iyengar teachers from around the world. She has travelled extensively in Asia and in December 2016 Wendy attended the Iyengar institute in Pune to be taught by the Iyengar family. 01736 799094

Rachel Bohadana

Rachel started taking an interest in yoga in her teens and began practising Iyengar yoga in 2001 with Charlie Worthington. After discovering the sense of balance and other health benefits of her practice this led to her doing the teacher training. Rachel has been teaching since 2013 and has continued to learn with senior teachers. Rachel also works part time in the social care team at a drug and alcohol detox unit and as a musician. 0756 8592289

Nick qualified to teach Iyengar yoga in October 2015. 'Ive been practicing yoga for around 10 years after finding so many good teachers in the Penwith area. My interest in surfing and surf travel and the beauty of the Penwith area really galvanised my practice of yoga. I work as a carer with people who have had life changing accidents, empathy and awareness have become much more intuitive with my daily practice of Iyengar yoga.' Lucy Aldridge

Lucy is a Senior Iyengar yoga teacher and a sports and remedial massage therapist. Based in Carbis Bay, Cornwall, she teaches regular classes, one to one tuition in Cornwall and on the beautiful Island of Tresco. 0781 7968936
