November 21 saw the movement of a few staff in our centre. Sidra has left on her maternity leave, and we wish her and her expanding family the best of luck and an enjoyable year off. Kayla has moved into the auditorium to take over Sidra's group, with Alanna coming over from the infant room to work in the toddler room. We now welcome Naadu, a previous casual staff member, into her full-time position in the infant room!

Our children love painting and it does tend to get messy, so to assist with keeping them a little cleaner we are asking for donations of small t-shirts for our younger kids to wear. We are also in need of extra pants for those little accidents that do happen!

Did you know that the YMCA runs preschool classes on Saturdays??? Have your little one explore the world in new and exciting ways by signing up for cooking classes, craft classes, science classes, and gym play!  Many classes are free with your child's membership that is included in their child care fee.  Winter classes start in the New Year.  Ask the front desk for details or contact Alex at ext. 244 if you have any class ideas that you want to see at the Y!!

That wonderful white stuff is back and the children are excited to play in it. Please send your children dressed appropriately for the weather every day as we will be going outside unless the temperature reaches -25. Mitts, toque, snowpants, scarves, jacket, and boots should be worn to protect the children from the cold air. Label all articles of your children's winter gear, there is a lot children, many who will have the same or similiar items. This will help track the children's stuff and prevent items from being lost or misplaced. The Mabel's Labels fundraiser is the perfect opportunity to ensure items are labeled and not lost.

Help us keep our centre clean! Please remove your wet and muddy footwear at the entrances to the centre. Ensure that your children have appropriate indoor footwear (labelled) at the centre at all times.

Please bring a labelled water bottle for your child to keep at the centre.  It is especially important for the toddlers to have these, as trips to the water fountain can be challenging at times!
Thanks
