Ballincollig YMCA was established in 1991 and over the intervening years it has developed a range of services and programmes to meet the ever-changing needs of young people. It is managed by a local group of volunteers who help to provide support and direction to a team of staff and programme  volunteers. Ballincollig YMCA is also a base for a number of  YMCA Ireland departments and programmes including Health, STEP and Youth Leadership.

Children's Day had its origin in the World Conference for the Wellbeing of Children in Geneva in 1925. This week we'll be focusing on Children's Rights and United Nations Convention on  the Rights of the Child. The kids will have chance to build familiarity with the convention, to learn about their own rights and about their responsibility to respect the rights of others.
