Yosuke Tanigawa is a Ph.D. student in Biomedical Informatics program at Stanford University. He had a training in Bioinformatics and Systems Biology program at the University of Tokyo, where he studied the 3D conformation of chromatin of vertebrate genomes under the supervision of Dr. Shinichi Morishita. He had a research at the intersection of information theory and machine learning at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory with Dr. Gurinder Atwal. His current research interests include large-scale inference and functional annotation of human genomes and automation of science. He has been working with Dr. Manuel Rivas and Dr. Gill Bejerano.
