Email:

Recently, I co-found a startup of AI and big data especially multimedia big data, Tripnester.

Before my current work, I worked as a researcher at the prestigious École normale supérieure (ENS), France under the supervision of Auguste Genovesio. The research topic was large scale video object detection.

Before researching at ENS, I work as a post-doc at Unit of Mathematics and computer science, INRA Jouy for biological video object tracking and retrieval. My supervisor was Alain Trubuil.

Previously I worked at Dublin City University, Ireland as a post-doc researcher. My research at DCU was on eye and gaze tracking in EU FP7 project, REVERIE. My supervisor was Prof. Noel O'Connor at Clarity Centre.

In 2012, I obtained my Ph.D. degree from Telecom ParisTech under the supervison of Prof. Bernard Merialdo at Multimedia Communication Department, Eurecom, France. My Ph.D. research was on video retrieval, especially the video summarization, in the project RPM2 funded by ANR, France (France National Research Agency). At that time, I also worked at Eurecom as Research Assistant.

Between 2006-2008 I studied as Master student in Pohang University of Science and Technology, South Korea and my study on image processing was under the supervison of Prof. Ki-sang Hong in Image Information Processing Lab, Department of Electronic and Electricity.

My Bachelor degree of Information Engineering was obtained from Xi'an Jiaotong University, China in 2005.
