Hi, I am Yilei (Elaine) Zeng, I am a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at Information Sciences Institute, University of Southern California. I am fortunate and honored to have Dr. Emilio Ferrara as my advisor.

I am especially interested in Applied Deep Learning and Reinforcement Learning to model decision makings and personalizations in Games: Mining social behavior patterns and modeling human decision makings from multimodal information (NLP, VISION); Modeling personalized motivation and incentives; Training AI agents that can learn interactively with human in the loop; Training personalized recommendation systems.

Before becoming a Ph.D. student, I completed my M.S. in Computer Technology from Peking University. I studied Network Engineering and double majored in Economics in college. During the years of my studies, I've been lucky to have many chances for exchange researches, which are in MILA (Canada), National Tsing Hua University (Taiwan), and the University of Edinburgh (UK).
