Yanhui Geng (résumé)PhD (HKU), M. Eng, B. Eng (USTC), M. IEEEBiographyDr. GENG Yanhui (Steven) is a researcher of Huawei Noah's Ark Lab, Hong Kong. He obtained his PhD degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Hong Kong (HKU) under the supervision of Prof. Victor O.K. Li in 2009. He received his B. Eng. and M. Eng. in Electronic Engineering and Information Science from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2002 and 2005, respectively. Before joining Huawei, he has was a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at HKU from 2009 to 2012, and was a Senior Engineer at the Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI) from 2012 to 2013. His research is in information technology, including wireless communication, network architecture and protocol, Internet technologies and applications, cloud computing and indoor positioning technology. Dr. Geng is a member of IEEE Communication Society and serves as an editorial board member of International Journal of Research and Reviews in Computer Science. Dr. Geng has published 16 international technical papers and his work on information quality published in IEEE International Conference on Communications 2010 received the Best Paper Award.
