The Power of Serious Fun: A Creative Retreat

The work you do is all about helping others. But today, it’s all about you! The Power of Serious Fun, is a unique opportunity for youth workers (professionals who work with or on behalf of youth) to flex their creative muscles. In this retreat 3-hour retreat, participants will:
  • Engage a variety of art forms in a playful environment that encourages creativity for adult learners
  • Talk about the importance of creativity in the work that we do with kids
  • Spend time together outside the normal work day to get better acquainted
  • Practice and take back art activities that can be used with children and youth in your work.
Each retreat feels like a genuine celebration and culminates in original
performances that the group performs for each other.
