  • Atlanta Office Without Power - The 6/8/17 6:50 a.m. The Atlanta office lost power to the 2800 building at about 6:50 a.m.  Presently, they are working on restoring the power and believe it will be back on within the hour.    The loss of power means that all IT equipment including servers, workstations, internet service and phones are inoperable at this time.When power is restored, we will begin the process of bringing up key systems.  We will advise by the usual crisis management text notifications when power is restored of there will be additional delay.Thank you,Kevin

  • Office Update: 85N Collapse & Operations for Friday 3/31/17 As you have most certainly heard, a section of 85N collapsed earlier this evening due to a fire. The affected area is in the vicinity of 85N and Piedmont with possible damage to 85S in that area being undetermined at this time.As a result, those of you who commute through the affected area to the office and those of you who may commute along the alternate routes being suggested by the media should review your route to the office tomorrow morning before departing.  If you can find an alternate route and make it in to the office, please do so.  If you are unable to make it in to the office, please plan on working remotely at your usual ...

  • Inclement Weather Update - OFFICE TO OPEN REGULAR HOURS - Mon 1/9/17 The Atlanta office will be open at its regular time on Monday, 1/9/17.Weather and road conditions have improved over the weekend. Thus, the office will open at its regular time.  However, all staff are advised to be cautious and to be aware of road conditions in their areas of commute, most especially for black ice which may still be present in some areas.  Additionally, please watch your step in the parking lot and walkways leading to the building entrances.

  • Inclement Weather Update - OFFICE CLOSES at 3:00 pm - FRI 1/6/17  The Atlanta office will close at 3:00 p.m., Friday, 1/6/17.  The Crisis Management Teams from each department are in place and will be activated at that time.  The weather forecast shows mostly rain mixed with small amounts of sleet this afternoon, however, out of caution we are closing the office in the event weather conditions worsen earlier than forecast.All staff members are reminded that their Outlook out of office auto-reply message and their voice mail greeting should be updated to reflect the early closure. On Sunday, 1/8/17 by 6:00 p.m., we expect to release information regarding the agency's planned operations for Monday, 1/9/17. Please drive carefully and ...

  • Inclement Weather Update - Thu 2/26/15 5:45 a.m. - DELAYED OPENING 9:00 a.m. Due to possible adverse road conditions including possible black ice, the Atlanta office will delay its opening until 9:00 a.m. on Thursday  2/26/15.  All staff are advised to carefully judge road conditions in their area before leaving for the office this morning.  If you need assistance or clarification, please contact your manager. The Crisis Management Teams are alerted to be in place by 7:30 a.m. to cover until the office opens.All staff are instructed to:1)  Change your voice mail greeting to reflect the delayed opening.2)  Change your out of office assistant message in Outlook to reflect the delayed opening.
