Hi! My name is Yanzhi Wang. I graduated with Ph.D. degree from Ming Hsieh Department of Electrical Engineering at University of Southern California in Aug. 2014, under supervision of Prof. Massoud Pedram. Now I am a postdoctoral research associate and part-time lecturer of EE577A (VLSI System Designs) and EE680 (Computer Aided Design I) at USC. I received my B.S. degree in Electronic Engineering from Tsinghua University in 2009.
My Ph.D. and postdoctoral research aims to develop a joint optimization framework of energy generation, energy storage, and energy consumption and enhance power/energy efficiency, which broad focuses on:
1. Control and optimization of energy generation and energy storage systems.
2. Green and sustainable computing.
3. Low-power circuits/systems and power management.
4. Extremely low-power near-threshold computing and emerging technologies.
My research has resulted in three Best Paper Awards or Top Paper Awards, multiple Best Paper Nominations, and two IEEE Transactions on CAD Popular Papers.
