I'm currently a postdoc fellow at Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics, University of California Santa Barbara. I obtained my Ph.D. in September 2015 from Department of Physics, New York University, where I was mentored by Prof. Matthieu Wyart at Center for Soft Matter Research. I completed my Bachelor degree in Science from Peking University in China in 2010. Supported by Prof. Boris Shraiman, I am focusing most of my energy on understanding physical problems in biology on many scales.
My research interests include but not limited to:
- Phylodynamics of fast mutating viruses, like flu;
- Elastic mechanisms of allosteric proteins;
- Intracellular gene regulation;
- Evolution, learning of complex networks;
- Jamming and rigidity transition;
- Non-equilibrium dynamical transitions.
