Why Traditional Chinese Medicine?

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has been practiced for several thousand years, and has evolved into a lot of unique techniques and theory for diagnosis, prevention and treatment of diseases. The techniques include acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, cupping, remedial massage, as well as diet and lifestyle balancing.

TCM considers a human body and the natural world as an inseparable whole system. It improves human health using synthetic analysis method, which considers the dynamic intrinsic relationships in human body and the relationship between interior and exterior environments. TCM tries to build up a balance inside a human body and make the body system stronger. People feel unwell when their body systems become unbalanced, and/or too weak to fight the invasions of bacteria and viruses. TCM aims to prevent one’s body from going wrong.

The basic theories of TCM includes Yin-Yang, Five-Elements, Zangfu, Qi, blood, visceral manifestations, body fluid vitality, meridians, pathogenesis, pathological mechanism and the prevention and treatment principle.
