Peng Yang received his B.S. degree (2009) in Electrical Engineering from University of Science and Technology of China, and his M.S. (2011) and Ph.D. (2014) degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Preston M. Green Department of Electrical and Systems Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis, both under the guidance of Prof. Arye Nehorai. During his studies in Washington University, he served as a graduate research assistant in Center for Sensor Signal and Information Processing, where his research focused on statistical signal processing and distributed optimization, with applications in Smart Grid. His current research interests include statistical signal processing, machine learning, optimization, and their applications.
