About Me

My name is Yang Cheng (程杨). I am a Postdoctoral Scholar in Device Research Laboratory at UCLA Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. Before that, I was a graduate student and a Presidential Fellow in Physics Department at the Ohio State University under the supervision of Prof. Fengyuan Yang.

My research area is experimental condensed matter physics. A major focus of my research is the spin physics in magnetic materials. Specifically, I have been working on growing ultra-high quality materials with state-of-the-art techniques. I am also working on fabricating nano-scale devices to explore the spin dynamics.
