received the B.E. degree in electronic and electrical engineering from the University of Aleppo, Aleppo, Syria, in 2011. I received the M.E. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the American University of Beirut (AUB), Beirut, Lebanon, in 2014. I am currently a Ph.D. student in electrical and computer engineering at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech), Blacksburg VA, USA.
Prior to joining Virginia Tech in 2015, I was a Research Assistant at AUB, where I was working on the application layer and scheduling for a distributed system. My current research interests include machine learning, distributed systems, task scheduling, optimization, cybersecurity and data analytics.
