In Genesis Chapter 16 Hagar is abused by Sarah, Abraham's wife, and she flees from the camp.
And the angel of Jehovah found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain in the way to Shur. (Genesis 16:7, ASV)
The messenger of Yahweh finds Hagar and in verses 8 through 12 he speaks to her about her son.
And she called the name of Jehovah that spake unto her, Thou art a God that seeth: for she said, Have I even here looked after him that seeth me? (Genesis 16:13, ASV)
The first thing we need to recognize in this verse is that she calls the "messenger of Yahweh" that is speaking to her "Yahweh." The second thing we need to recognize is that according to this verse Hagar calls Yahweh a name, but nowhere is that name given, well not in this translation anyway, but here is how this reads from the Hebrew, "And she called the name of Yahweh, the one who spoke to her, you are El of Ro'I," the name of one of the Elim.
