Chupaqueso

Or, what not to do with cheese 

 

  

I've been experimenting With Cheese     

I managed to make a chupaqueso.  Several, in fact. I'm very proud. 

  


  First, I seared some deli-sliced ham in a pan. This is part of the filling.  When slightly bacon-like,  I removed from pan.

 

 

 

 

 Then I took a slice of smoked provolone cheese, in a small teflon frying pan, and heated it on medium-high heat until it was bubbly and crispy.  Toasted.

 

 

 

  

Then I combined the two, and using a pair of tongs, folded the cheese over onto itself.

 

 

 Taa-Dah! I then toasted it a bit more, then dropped it onto a paper towel to drain. 

 

 

 

 

 

 They're *BEAUTIFUL*
