10. First Test Run

One of the last steps before completing the circuitry to the motor, a screen to keep dirt out of the motor. 

This completed the power circuits. 

After more than 2 years of off-and-on struggle, this was a very satisfying day. I turned the key, and --- it worked! As it was supposed to! I still need to adjust the position of the air shocks, and install a few leftover items. 

I was pleased that the speedometer actually worked. I exceeded my expectation of a top speed of 35 mph, wearing my bubble-shield helmet, since I still have no windshield.
