About Me

I am a postdoctoral research associate with CSL at the University of Illinois working with Prof. Bruce Hajek.  I received the B.E. degree in electronic engineering at Tsinghua University in 2009.  I received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering at Arizona State University under the supervision of Prof. Lei Ying in 2015. 

I am currently working on statistical inference of gene regulatory networks.  Check out our project website here.

I am interested in the interplay between mathematics and engineering.  Specifically, I designed efficient scheduling algorithms with performance guarantees in both wireless networks and data centers.  My dissertation is titled "Performance Analysis of Low-Complexity Resource-Allocation Algorithms in Stochastic Networks Using Fluid Models" and can be found here.

I presented a poster titled "On the challenge of gene regulatory network reconstruction from high-throughput sequencing data" at IMaCCS Workshop, The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH in June 2018.

I presented CausNet, a framework for gene regulatory network inference at the Digital Tools and Resources session at the Plant and Animal Genome XXVI Conference (PAG XXVI), Jan 2018, San Diego, CA.
