Short Biography:
I am a researcher in Yahoo Research. Before joining Yahoo, I received my Ph.D in INRIA Rennes (France) in 2010 under the supervision of Dr. Anne-Marie Kermarrec. I obtained my Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree from Xi'an Jiaotong University (China) in 2004 and 2007 respectively. During 2002 and 2004, I studied in Ecole Centrale de Lyon (France) within a Franco-Chinese exchange program and obtained my Engineer Degree (Diplôme d'Ingénieur).

My research interests include Web search, online advertising, distributed computing and social data mining. I worked on personalized query processing in P2P systems during my Ph.D. I worked on Web search (including web crawling, distributed architecture and efficiency optimization), content recommendation with multiple media sources, as well as caching mechanisms for social applications when I was with Yahoo Labs Barcelona. I am currently working on matching and ranking of search/native/display ads.
