"Our daily life, economic vitality, and national security depend on a stable, safe, and resilient cyberspace. We rely on this vast array of networks to communicate and travel, power our homes, run our economy, and provide government services.

Yet cyber intrusions and attacks have increased dramatically over the last decade, exposing sensitive personal and business information, disrupting critical operations, and imposing high costs on the economy."

-Department of Homeland Security

With cyber security becoming a serious issue as technology continues to grow, we want to raise awareness for cyber security and teach good security practices to the next leaders of this country. The importance of cyber security has increased in recent years. No longer does it apply solely to the government or the military. Breaches of cyber security have spread to the common people with viruses, and trojans being common if you have a poorly protected computer system. Because there are more and more bad hackers in the world, we must train more good hackers who are able to protect themselves and others from the dangers of these cyber breaches.
