I am currently a Senior Analyst with Statistics Canada. My primary research fields are public finance, labour economics, and applied econometrics, with a special interest in household finance and aging-related contexts. I have previously served in research roles at the Bank of Canada and was one of the creators of the Bank of Canada’s Credit Conditions and the Senior Loan Officer Survey affiliated websites. My research has garnered a number of graduate awards, including the Joseph-Armand Bombardier Canada Graduate Scholarship from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada and the Albert Whiteley Memorial Fellowship from the University of British Columbia for public policy research. In addition to my Ph.D. degree in Economics, I received my Master of Science in Business Administration and my Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degrees from the University of British Columbia. My bachelor’s degree was accompanied by numerous awards such as the Air Canada Outstanding Student Award, Top Investment Student Award, and the Most Outstanding Female Finance Student Award. I am also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder, and passed all 3 levels of CFA examination on first attempt.
