Welcome to NUTSY‎ > ‎

What is NUTSY?

NUTSY is Temple Sinai's Senior Youth Group for participants in grades 8-12.  Members of NUTSY organize many exciting activities including regular lounge nights, programs, meetings, and social events such as the Haunted Graveyard, movie nights, Havdallah Hangouts, social action projects, and of course, our annual Purim Shul-In and Carnival!

NUTSY participates in several events per year with the other Reform youth groups in CT including Shul-In's and our annual Chocolate Seder.  This past November, NUTSY, along with 5 other youth groups in the Connecticutt area, hosted Fall Conclavette for over 250 other teens!

NUTSY is a proud member of NFTY-Northeast and NUTSY members actively participate in regional and region wide events, including weekend long Conclavettes and 5-day Institutes!  Several of our members have proudly served as personnel for regional institutes over the past several years!

Membership dues for NUTSY are $40 per calendar year and include regional dues, plus help to offset the cost of local events and transportation.  All events have an additional cost to cover event specific expenses.  To join NUTSY, fill out the membership form below, and return it to Mitzi, with a check made payable to NUTSY.

For an up to date calendar of Regional and Local events, please visit the Temple Sinai Youth Calendar to the left and check out the NUTSY section!

We welcome your participation, comments, questions, and suggestions!  Feel free to contact any of the board members or our advisor, Mitzi Young.
