Our Tours

https://www.lincsbirdtours.com

If you are planning a visit to Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Suffolk or beyond we can offer you a walk off the beaten track including farmland, woods, saltmarsh, beaches, MOD sites, private gardens and grounds where the public has no general access. We even have a 500-acre deciduous wood where we have sole access to or visit one of our many fantastic reserves.

  • If there are particular species you would like to see, this can be arranged depending on the time of year, weather and migration. Our most popular species are  Wildfowl, Waders, Terns, Owls, Nightjars, Warblers and Raptors.
  • Our trips will be arranged for a specific date, destination and time, or we can meet you at a selected location at a time to suit you. More birding sites, links and blogs from our sister site can be found HERE
  • Photographers welcome to capture that bird up close without disturbing territories or breeding sites.
  • eg Owls & Raptors.

Good walking boots, waterproofs, warm clothing are a must. Plenty of water and a packed lunch as we will be out in the field for most of the day. Binoculars and a scope (if you have one) but I will be on hand to make sure you see the birds.

Species counts are important to us so a full list will be taken on the day. 100 species seen in a day is possible on a good day with the weather on our side and the right time of year. Our record is 111 species seen in July.

Frampton Marsh RSPB on a Spring or Autumn day with easterlies has had 29 different species of wader, so well worth a walk around, with plenty of benches, disabled access throughout, a visitor centre with facilities available.

Counts vary depending on the time of year, weather, migration and location.

SUV can be arranged if the group is over 4 people, we will need a bit of time to make arrangements so do get in touch asap with attendees.
