The purpose of the CMHS counseling program is to impact  student achievement  through skill  development and learning opportunities.     It focuses on academic, career and personal/social development. counselors assist students in identifying individual  growth areas  and  provide  support and  guidance along  the way. We see this as a collaborative effort involving parents, students,  teachers  and  other stakeholders.   Early  in the fall semester, we dedicate our efforts primarily to class scheduling, new student registration, and classroom visitations.

The senior class orientation focuses on testing, TOPS, resume building,  college applications and college entrance requirements.
