After 83 years of contributing to psychology and the human spirit, Steve became terminally ill this year with Parkinson's Disease. Robert B. Dilts, L.Michael Hall, Joseph O'Connor, the Association of NLP, and I wanted to give him a lifetime achievement award while he was still able to see and appreciate it, but Steve had always refused such public accolades.
So we decided to give him an award he couldn't refuse... a comedy roast. Held in London at the annual ANLP conference in May, with a live-streaming video hook-up with him at his Boulder, Colorado home, this presentation of course devolved into a warm celebration and acknowledgement of Steve and his career. Various psychologists such as Steve Lankton, Tim and Kris Hallbom, and Richard Bandler sent video tributes to this presentation.
