Opportunities to Consider for the Next School Year

Lifestyle Advisors partner with campus health professionals to gain hands-on experience in leadership, group facilitation, public speaking, peer counseling, outreach, and health specialty areas. Lifestyle Advisors are peer health leaders who increase the “health literacy” of Western’s campus by working in one of these topic groups:

  • Alcohol & Other Drug Risk Reduction
  • Ally Building Network
  • CPR/First Aid
  • HIV Counseling and Testing
  • Men’s Violence Prevention Project
  • Peer Sexual Health Educators
  • Positive Body Image
  • Women’s Empowerment and Violence Education (WEAVE)
The program to begin training for the 2010-2011 year is closed, but for our younger members this is a great opportunity to keep in mind if you want this kind of experience!
