Grant Opportunities

PR Grants for Locals (Have to research to see if this still exists)
MTA program through their Public Relations and Organizing Committee. The committee gave each region $25,000 to use on projects that would help locals get some positive PR by helping their local communities. Some examples of grants that were awarded went to locals that made donations to school/community constructions projects, sponsorships for local fine arts productions, the setting up and running of a music camp, the creation of a summer science academy, new common-core-friendly books for the school library, and the list goes on and on. There really is no limit to what you can do.

Some locals in our region too advantage of this program, but most did not. The PR&O Committee extended this program into this school year, so I am sending out another call for grants with the hope that people will take advantage of the money--and the time they have in the summer.

Again, this is money from the MTA for your local to use for almost anything in your community. Let your imagination run wild. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at any time. The grants will be available until the money runs out.I attached the grant application, so please take a look. If you decide to submit a grant, please fill it out and send it to me--not MTA. Thanks.
